How To Set Dubsado Up In 5 Steps

Are you ready to come behind the scenes?

In today’s blog post I’m taking you behind the scenes as I’ll be sharing my step-by-step process for setting up Dubsado.

Dubsado is a very extensive business management and customer relationship management tool with a long list of features and benefits. Many of these features can streamline and automate your business, all whilst improving your customer experience and customer journey. Due to the sheer number of features, I would highly recommend hiring a Dubsado Certified Specialist to help set up and implement your new business management tool. By working with a Certified Dubsado Specialist you will save a significant amount of time, and ensure everything is set up as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Dubsado can be quite overwhelming, especially if you are not tech-savvy, or simply don’t have the time available to learn a new management system.

Here at my Dubsado Setup Tips to help you get started today in a 5-step process.

  • Step 1: Plan

  • Step 2: Design

  • Step 3: Copy

  • Step 4: Build

  • Step 5: Test

Step 1: Plan

Before jumping straight in it’s important to plan your customer journey. The very first step is to start with your current process, write it down, and tweak things around to ensure you have the perfect customer journey for you and your clients.

Step 2: Design

Now, it’s time to get creative and design the look and feel of your Dubsado system. Design your proposal templates, questionnaires and client forms. Canva is my go-to tool for all things creative and design-led. Canva is a great tool to use to design and create branded elements on your documents.

Step 3: Copy

Copy! It’s time to write, write all of your emails and any other communication to clients from the initial booking stage, through to a final thank you email. Consider each customer touch-point including welcome emails, next steps, payment reminders, thank you and so on.

Step 4: The Build

The build is the most time-consuming element of setting up Dubsado. Now that you’ve mapped out the process, designed your proposals, questionnaires, and forms and written all emails it’s time to build your workflows. Remember to use your initial mapped out process to help build your workflows.

Step 5: Test

Test, test and test, on and test again. Test every element of your Dubsado process. Once you’ve built your workflows, go through the whole customer journey from start to finish as if you were a potential lead or booked client. This process allows you to see how Dubsado will look and feel from your customer’s perspective, allowing you to tweak anything you need to.
